"Thirsty centrist dads love my blue hair" - Can the skies ever be bluer?

Updated: Nov 25

It seems like there are no safe spaces on the internet... I was trying to avoid setting up another account on yet another social media platform but I have joined Blue Sky under work-related duress. When setting up my account on Blue Sky I discovered that my name tag had already been taken, under further investigation - it appears to be a troll who has set up an imposter account. So much for Blue Sky being a "troll free platform".

My friend who has been using the platform for over a year informed that there is another fake account with the tag 'EUsupergirl' - which he has reported multiple times to no avail.

When searching for the account, I also found a bunch of posts referring to me:

It doesn't come as a great surprise that I am being trolled on platforms which I don't use, just slightly depressing. I never thought that "Blue Sky" was really going to be some safe haven for public discourse and political debate, but it might be slightly less toxic than X has become under Elon Musk. I will continue to use X though, as I have 27,000 followers on the platform - it's therefore where I have most influence.

Anyway, the imposter account using my name tag turned out to be a good thing, as my friend (Steve Hunt) proposed using my website domain instead. I had no idea how to do this, as it turned out to be quite a complicated techy process, but he happily sorted it out for me which was very kind of him. So, despite the continuous stream of hate I have to endure, there are many who support my work and generously give their time to support me and I really appreciate that.
