Lino-printing Redi's Flag

The most difficult part of turning the digital design of Redi's flag into a lino-print was sketching out the design which required some precise mathematical measuring.

The design was very simple but required a very firm hand to create a very steady hand to keep the shapes as straight and even as possible.

At first I printed in blue and white ink on card, and although Redi has chosen black as one of his colours, I decided not to use the black ink yet because it's not possible to print in other colours again after black ink has been used on the plate.

Then I tried printing on different fabrics.
